Li-iN Pilates Ltd Shipping and Delivery Policy

1. Overview

This Shipping and Delivery Policy outlines the terms applicable to all purchases made from Li-iN Pilates Ltd. By placing an order with us, you agree to the conditions described below.

2. Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Shipments

Global shipping operations continue to experience occasional disruption as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Li-iN Pilates Ltd and/or our carrier partners cannot be held responsible for, nor provide compensation for, unforeseen shipping delays caused by circumstances beyond our control. These may include (but are not limited to):

Freight carrier delays
Customs or border clearance delays
Adverse weather conditions
Natural disasters or other force majeure events

We appreciate your understanding and patience should such delays occur.

3. Delivery Inspection and Damage Reporting

Upon delivery, please inspect your order carefully before signing the carrier’s waybill. Any visible damage to the outer box, packaging, or skid must be clearly noted on the waybill at the time of delivery.

If someone signs for the delivery on your behalf, they must be over 18 years of age and aware of this inspection requirement.

Li-iN Pilates Ltd cannot be held responsible for any damage not noted on the carrier’s waybill.

Please take care when unpacking your order. Avoid using box cutters, as they may damage upholstered or delicate parts.

Any damage, missing, or incorrect items must be reported to Li-iN Pilates Ltd within three (3) business days of delivery.

4. Delivery Services for Reformers and Large Equipment

All large equipment (including Reformers, Wall Units, and Barrels) is shipped via Curbside Delivery Service.

4.1 Curbside Delivery

Delivery is made as close as possible to your building or address.
Customers are not required to assist with unloading.
We recommend at least two people be available to move the equipment inside.
Customers are responsible for unpacking, assembly, installation, and disposal of packaging materials.

Unless otherwise specified, all freight quotes are for curbside delivery only and do not include inside delivery or installation services.

4.2 Equipment Assembly

Reformers, Wall Units, and Ladder Barrels arrive approximately 90% assembled.
Cadillacs and Stability Chairs™ require additional assembly.
All shipments include instructions and basic tools to assist with setup.
Our Customer Care Team is available to support you with setup questions.

5. Delivery Scheduling and Fees

Delivery quotes include one (1) scheduled delivery attempt. If no one is available at the agreed time, a re-delivery fee may apply. Fees and policies vary by carrier and are the responsibility of the consignee.

Carriers will contact you directly to arrange a delivery date and time. Deliveries generally occur during regular business hours. After-hours or weekend delivery options may be available for an additional charge.

Extra charges may apply for:

Stair access or narrow passageways
Remote or difficult-to-reach locations
Unusual delivery conditions

Please notify Li-iN Pilates Ltd in advance of any special requirements so that your freight quote can be adjusted accordingly.

If you delay or postpone a scheduled delivery, carrier storage fees may apply. In rare cases, unforeseen circumstances may require rescheduling your delivery.

Door-to-door delivery is available upon request and will be quoted as an additional service.

6. Customs, Duties, and Import Taxes

Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, the Buyer is responsible for all import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees imposed when the shipment reaches its destination country.

The Buyer is considered the importer of record and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Any additional customs-related charges are solely the responsibility of the Buyer.
